Magneto look a like distributor have been around for years with little success until now.Eclipse Engineering had done just that. This unit have been studied, refined, tested and proven. It'll work with EFI or carburetor.Each unit is custom built to customer's specification.You can order it polished finish or brushed finish with choice of tag Scitilla, Hunt, or simply no tag.

All EFI applications with spark control will require an external ignition box we suggest the MSD #5520 or MSD 6A box. If your application is using carburetors, or EFI applications without spark control, you must use a MSD Programmable 6AL-2 Ignition Control (MSD part # 6530) the instructions that are supplied by MSD will show you how to install and program the 6530 for your application. (MSD Installation instructions page 6) We also can supply you with a MSD 6530 preprogrammed with a custom ignition advance curve for your application.

All distributors are designed to use an external ignition coil. We have done this for improved reliability and ease of service. We suggest using a MSD # 82073–(Black) Blaster-SS coil. This unit is compact and easy to mount and conceal. However, you can use any coil that is compatible with the MSD # 5520. The distributor is provided with a 3 ½ ft. coil wire that has a boot and terminal preinstalled for testing purposes. We have supplied an additional terminal that you will install after cutting the coil wire to the desired length for your particular application.
