#003 Machine Shop -- 2006.04.08

We have had many storms lately. The snow has covered the top part of the San Bernardino Mountains which we can see to our North from Mooneyes USA. It's a nice view in winter after the rain when the air is clean, less smog.


This week I will introduce Bill Jenks from our Machine Shop.
He is well known as a welder of Moon Tanks and Master grinder of Moon Camshafts. Now he is having his busiest days through his long life of 75 years. Especially orders for Moon Tank as they continuiously come in from patient customers. Bill is the only one who can make Moon Tanks and the job cannot be rushed. So we can only ask our customer to wait. But it's worth waiting as the Moon Tanks made by Bill are of the highest quality and caliber. Each and every Moon Tank is made with real craft-man ship and filled with Bill's Soul . Bill goes out to Golf on weekends but he says it doesn't go well as Welding on a Moon Tank.

* For customers wishing to purchase a Moon Tank, please consult with the Mooneyes staff. Currently about three weeks lead time is necessary for production. For customers who already made an order, sorry but please wait a little while Bill is making each one. Genuine MOONs are made in good ol' USA.
