Well, what can we say? All the threats of rain for Saturday caused many people to give up on coming. But, there were more people who prayed and rain danced and boy did we get lucky again!

Weather is always a factor this time of year, but we do love to get people together for a little Christmas spirit. Despite of the forecast, we had plenty of die hards already lined up in front of gate waiting to get in. Last year, we had so many problems getting cars and people in, so we worked hard to make it smoother this year. With 3 gates to let cars and people in, things went very smooth. Especially with pre registration, cars came in with no problem.

Vendors selling variety of products and services, pin stripers from all over the world, Jimmy C, Dennis Mcphail, Coop from Ohio, Mitch, Doug Dorr, Skratch, Harpoon, Wildman Ishii and Mr G from Japan, many others to demonstrate their artistic talent.

Live bands with Dead Beat Daddys leading off, then Hot Rod Trio, and Dynatones entertained people again. Thank you very much!

There were many drag racers too who enjoyed some smokey burn outs and some scary moments. There were quite a few nostalgia race cars on display. Winged Express, the original QQ roadster once Clayton Hunter raced. This car gave Dean Moon the idea of MQQN and became infamous MQQN logo. Cacklefest at Noon with 4 nostalgia dragsters including Moon Dragster was the hightlight of day on the track. That sound and smell of nitro can give some people goose bumps.

We had art auction at 1:00pm with plenty of art pieces donated from artists and vendors, we were able to raise $3,210.00 and proceed will go to Shriner's Childrens Hospital. Thank you very much for your contribution.

Right after the auction, pin up contest. How people find out, I'll never know, but people seem to find out. There was a mob of people gathered around stage to take a look. It has become part of X'mas show highlight.

There were a couple of minor incidents, but all and all everything went very smooth all day.

We estimated 1400 cars, 200 plus bikes, 125 drag cars, 85 vendors and pin stripers and lots of spectators.

We can't thank enough to every body who participated vendors, pin stripers, drag racers, people who brought nostalgia cars, people who brought show cars and bikes, and people who helped us all day and those people who came to see our show despite the forecast. Thank you goes to Irwindale Speedway and their staff as well. Thank you for making Xmas show such a success. It's all because of dedication of people like you. Hope to see you next year again.
